TERMS & CONDITIONS

Last updated: October 22, 2026

Welcome to Watercolors of Glory. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of www.watercolorsofglory.com and purchases made through the website.

By using the website or purchasing a product or service, you agree to the terms applicable to that activity. Please read these terms and the relevant product, course, or retreat description before purchasing.

Watercolors of Glory is operated as a sole proprietorship by Kristen Lazarini (“Watercolors of Glory,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

1. Products and Services

Watercolors of Glory offers original artwork, commissioned artwork, art prints, note cards, digital products, online educational courses, and in-person watercolor retreats.

Each product or service may have additional information or conditions on its individual product page, course checkout, or retreat booking page. Those specific terms form part of the purchase terms for that offering. If a specific booking page establishes different conditions for a particular retreat package, those conditions apply to that package to the extent they are consistent with applicable law.

We make reasonable efforts to describe and display our products accurately. Colors and appearance may vary depending on screen settings, lighting, printing methods, and other factors. Original artwork is individually created and may have characteristics that differ from photographs or reproductions.

2. Orders and Payments

We may accept payments through Stripe, Square, Venmo, Zelle, cash, or other methods expressly offered for a particular transaction.

Available payment methods depend on the product or service and the instructions provided at checkout or when a purchase is arranged. Not every payment method is necessarily available for every purchase.

You agree to provide accurate information needed to process your order, arrange delivery, or complete your booking. An order or booking is subject to acceptance and any applicable booking requirements disclosed before purchase.

Prices, applicable taxes, shipping charges, payment schedules, and other charges will be disclosed as applicable before you complete your purchase.

3. Original Artwork and Commissions

Original artwork and commissioned pieces are generally final sale, and we do not routinely accept returns or change-of-mind refunds.

Commissioned artwork may involve individualized discussions about the subject, size, materials, timing, and other specifications. Any agreed commission specifications, payment schedule, and delivery arrangements should be confirmed before work begins.

Because commissioned artwork is customized, changes requested after work has begun may not be possible or may require an additional charge agreed upon with you.

If an item arrives damaged, is materially different from what was agreed, or an error occurs on our part, please contact us so we can review the issue and determine an appropriate resolution. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

4. Prints and Note Cards

We do not routinely accept returns for prints or note cards because a customer has changed their mind or no longer wants the item.

Damaged deliveries

If your order arrives damaged, please email k.lazarini@gmail.com within seven days of delivery, where reasonably possible, with:

  • Your order details.

  • The delivery date or available delivery confirmation.

  • Photographs showing the damaged item.

  • Photographs of the outer packaging and shipping materials, where available.

This information helps us assess whether damage occurred during packaging or shipping. Please retain the item and packaging until we have had a reasonable opportunity to review the issue.

Where damage during packaging or shipping is confirmed, we will work with you toward an appropriate resolution. Depending on the product and availability, this may include a replacement, refund, or another agreed solution.

Incorrect orders and fulfillment errors

If you receive the wrong item or we make a fulfillment error, please contact us promptly at k.lazarini@gmail.com. We will work to correct our error and cover appropriate shipping costs associated with the correction.

Print-on-demand products

If a damaged print can be replaced, we will generally arrange a replacement. If a replacement is unavailable, we may offer a refund or an alternative item of comparable value, as appropriate to the circumstances.

Original artwork that is damaged in transit

An original artwork may not be replaceable. We will review reported damage individually, taking into account the extent of damage, location, shipping arrangements, and practical return options. Possible resolutions may include a refund, alternative artwork of comparable value, or another mutually agreed solution. We will discuss whether the artwork needs to be returned based on the circumstances.

Please report problems within the stated seven-day period where possible. This reporting process does not remove any consumer rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited.

5. Customized Artwork and Digital Products

Customized artwork and digital downloads are generally final sale, and we do not routinely offer change-of-mind refunds.

If a digital product cannot be accessed, is defective, or there is another problem with your purchase, please contact k.lazarini@gmail.com. We will review the issue and consider an appropriate solution.

Any applicable non-waivable consumer rights remain unaffected.

6. Online Courses

Our online courses may include prerecorded lessons, downloadable or other educational materials, and live online painting sessions when described in the relevant course offering.

Course accounts

Students may be required to create an account using their own email address and password. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure, providing accurate account information, and notifying us if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

Accounts are intended for the individual student who purchased access. You may not share your login credentials or allow another person to use your course account without our permission.

Course access

Course access is intended to continue for the lifetime of the relevant course offering while that offering and its materials remain available through Watercolors of Glory.

This is not a promise that a course, its current version, or its hosting arrangements will exist permanently. We may discontinue or replace a course version, or course access may end if we cease operating or can no longer reasonably provide the course. We will communicate material changes where reasonably practicable and handle any resulting obligations in accordance with applicable law and the purchase terms.

Any more specific access period or limitation stated clearly on the course sales page before purchase will also apply.

Course payments

Where offered, students may choose between a one-time payment and a three-installment payment plan. The total price, installment amounts, and payment schedule will be disclosed at checkout.

By selecting the installment plan, you agree to pay all three installments of the agreed total price, even if you stop participating in or accessing the course, subject to applicable law and any rights that cannot be waived.

If an installment payment fails or becomes overdue, we may contact you to request updated payment information. We may temporarily suspend course access while payment remains overdue, after providing reasonable notice and an opportunity to resolve the problem where practicable. Access may be restored once the account is brought up to date.

If payment remains outstanding, we may take further action permitted by the purchase agreement and applicable law. We will not use these terms to impose a payment obligation that applicable law prohibits.

Course refunds

Course purchases are not routinely refundable because a student changes their mind or decides not to participate. If you experience a problem with the course or wish to request a refund, email k.lazarini@gmail.com for individual review.

This policy does not exclude refunds or other remedies required by applicable law.

Educational content

Our courses are provided for educational and creative purposes. Results vary depending on individual experience, materials, practice, and other circumstances. We do not guarantee any particular artistic, financial, business, or personal result.

7. Retreats, Events, and In-Person Activities

Retreats may take place in Southeast Asia or the USA and may include watercolor activities, walking, local excursions, visits to markets or gardens, and occasional hikes or other activities, depending on the particular retreat.

Each retreat's booking page will set out the applicable price, inclusions, exclusions, payment terms, cancellation policy, and other package-specific conditions. Please review those terms before booking. Different retreat packages may have different booking and cancellation conditions.

Rescheduling by the organizer

If we reschedule a retreat, we intend to offer participants the option to transfer their payment to the rescheduled dates or request a refund if they cannot attend those dates. The applicable retreat booking page should explain the process and any relevant deadlines.

If we cancel a retreat entirely, we intend to provide a full refund of the amount paid for the cancelled retreat, subject to applicable law and the specific booking terms.

Participant responsibilities and risk acknowledgment

Retreat participants understand that travel and in-person activities can involve inherent risks, including slips, falls, uneven terrain, weather conditions, transportation, food-related issues, and other unexpected events.

Participants are responsible for assessing whether an activity is appropriate for their circumstances, communicating relevant dietary or health-related needs in advance, following reasonable safety instructions, and behaving responsibly toward other participants and venue staff.

Participants are encouraged to arrange appropriate travel insurance and medical insurance, including coverage suitable for activities planned during the retreat. Participants should not assume that the organizer's insurance, if any, covers their personal medical expenses, travel disruption, belongings, or other individual losses.

Participants are responsible for their personal belongings and should take reasonable precautions to protect them.

We will take reasonable steps to organize and communicate retreat activities, but these terms do not exclude responsibilities or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded. Any more specific release or waiver language must be presented clearly for the relevant retreat and reviewed for applicability before use.

Participant information

We may ask for booking details, emergency contact information, dietary requirements, or relevant health-related information where reasonably needed to arrange accommodation, meals, activities, or participant safety. We will handle this information as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the original artwork, photographs, text, graphics, course materials, videos, branding, and other original content published by Watercolors of Glory are owned by or licensed to Watercolors of Glory and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Purchasing an artwork, print, digital product, or course provides only the rights expressly granted with that purchase. Unless we give written permission or applicable law permits otherwise, you may not reproduce, distribute, sell, publicly share, or commercially exploit our artwork or course materials.

Purchasing an original artwork does not automatically transfer copyright in the artwork. Any separate licensing or reproduction rights must be agreed upon expressly in writing.

You may not copy or redistribute course lessons or materials, share paid course access, or use course content to create or sell a competing product without permission.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the website, attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts or systems, interfere with website operation, upload malicious code, or use the website for unlawful or fraudulent purposes.

You must not infringe the intellectual-property rights or privacy rights of others or use our website or course services in a way that materially disrupts other users.

We may take reasonable action to address misuse, including restricting access where appropriate.

10. Third-Party Services and Links

Our website and business may use third-party providers for website hosting, payments, email marketing, analytics, product fulfillment, social-media integrations, course access, and other services.

Third-party services are subject to their own terms, policies, availability, and technical practices. We are not responsible for independent services to the extent permitted by law, but this does not exclude any responsibility that applicable law places on us.

Links to external websites are provided for convenience and do not necessarily constitute an endorsement.

11. Website Availability and Changes

We may update, modify, or discontinue website features, products, services, or content. We do not guarantee uninterrupted website availability.

We will not use this provision to avoid obligations relating to purchases already made or rights that cannot legally be excluded.

12. Termination and Account Restrictions

We may suspend or terminate access to website or course features where reasonably necessary because of a breach of these terms, security concerns, unlawful conduct, misuse, or discontinuation of a service.

Where practicable, we will provide notice and an opportunity to address the issue before restricting access, unless immediate action is reasonably necessary.

Termination does not automatically extinguish payment obligations already incurred, refund rights, or other rights and obligations that survive under applicable law. We will handle account information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable retention requirements.

13. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the website and its content are provided on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that the website will always be available, error-free, or compatible with every device or system.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits a warranty, right, remedy, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Watercolors of Glory will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the website or a product or service. Any further limitation of liability must be interpreted subject to applicable law and the particular circumstances of the transaction.

14. Governing Law

These terms are intended to be governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

This provision does not deprive consumers of protections that cannot be waived under the laws applicable to their transaction, and it does not guarantee that Texas law will govern every dispute.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The updated version will be published on our website with a revised “Last updated” date.

Changes will apply prospectively where appropriate. We will not use an update to retroactively remove rights that customers already have under an existing purchase agreement or applicable law.
