Precious in His Sight

from $22.00

Each October, the night sky fills with light.

Across Myanmar and neighboring countries, families gather to celebrate the Festival of Lights—placing candles around their homes and releasing lanterns into the sky. Some are sent up in joy and tradition… others carry quiet prayers, lifted with hope into the darkness.

In recent years, that hope has felt fragile.

Many of our neighbors have walked through deep uncertainty and loss, searching for something steady to hold onto. And yet, each year, the lights still rise.

We join in the beauty of this tradition—lighting candles, releasing lanterns, standing alongside those around us. But behind it all, there is a deeper prayer in our hearts… for true hope, for lasting peace, for light that does not fade.

This painting holds that moment—
a sky filled with longing,
a people still reaching,
and the quiet belief that light will come.
